The St'át'imc Cultural Experiences
Jenilee McDonald -projects assistant for Upper St'at'imc Language Cultural Education Society organizing a St'at'imc Cultural Tour for the tourism initiative 2013. Film crew with TV program called "under exposed". They visited MH to document the tour introduced by Mariko Kage, president of MHS. Their feature scheduled to air in thr fall on APTN. Our local Lillooet Split Rock Environmental Group was also invited to show case native and cultural plants, items and berries etc. more detail on Event&Program
Japanese Canadian Internment tour group visited - June 21.2013
On Friday, June 21st, the Japanese Canadian Internment tour group visited East Lillooet, then stopped at Miyazaki Heritage House for lunch hosted by the Miyazaki House Society. The weather turned beautiful after all for today's gathering; we had a wonderful time of sharing and networking with each other.
